Description
Built in 1914, the Brady Theater was and still is one of the most famous theaters in Oklahoma. The theater has a large history, and in 1921, it was in the very center of one of the most violent massacre in the USA, the Tulsa Race Riots. Many people were killed, around the theater, and possible inside the theater, too. To read more about the race riot, click here. The theater is also supposedly haunted by famous opra (not OPRA, opra, lol! ) singer Enrico Carusa. Security guards, workers, and other people that have been to this theater have reported unexplainable phenomena such as lights turning off and on by themselves. It is also reported that before every major show, some unexplainable equiptment failure occurres that delays the show.
This was the very first OPRA (Oklahoma Paranormal Research Alliance) investigation, hosted by PITT. Darren Dedo hosted a special on FOX 23 in Tulsa, Oklahoma on the investigation October 30, 2002. This being a huge theater, seating almost 3,000 people, you can imagine how hard it was to investigate in a single night. A place this big almost needs to have 2 or 3 follow up investigations. We broke into 2 teams for this investigation, did two seperate walk throughs, scanning for EMF, and then ran video cameras and did a sit-down. During the end of the walk through, we had some quick unexplainable EMF spikes in a few different areas of the theater. Also, we had some interesting impressions occurred in the basement, where a cement stairwell leads to a cement wall... Perhaps a room someone long ago decided to seal off from the world for some unknown reason. Below is some of the possible positive data we obtained from the Brady Theater in Tulsa, OK.

Recorded by Teri, while she was inside a deep tunnel, assumed to be for pipes, wires, etc., in the basement. Craig and Teri were the only people in the tunnel, and you can hear a male voice say something undistinguishable, but I can make out the "F" word. The voice after the EVP is Craig, who was the only other person in the tunnel with Teri.
