Description
Before this church abandoned in the 1920's, it was an African American church during a time of racial segregation. This could be why this church is located in the middle of nowhere, miles into a country road. The church was very strict, and the previous owner of the church even says that the preacher would use belts to discipline children. The church was abandoned after the preacher had a heart attack and died inside the church.
This church is in surprisingly good condition, considering it has been abandoned for over half a century. One would think it would be the biggest party spot for local teens, but it shows no signs that anyone has even stepped inside the church since it was abandoned. Other than minimal weather damage, it is is near-perfect condition.
This was my third investigation of this church, and probably the most visibly active one. Julie Hubbard from the Muskogee Phoenix Daily joined us and is in the process of writing an article about the investigation for the newspaper. Only Mary, Julie, and I (Justin) attended this investigation, though as we were leaving we were greeted by three Muskogee police officers that were thinking about joining the team. Only 5 minutes after setting up the equiptment, we had an EMF array spike up to the 3rd LED for about a minute, and we knew we were in for quite a night. For an EMF array to go off at all is very rare, and for it to go off 5 minutes after we got there is even more rare. A little bit later, a different array started going off, along with noise that sounded like an animal running (on speed, lol), but this was different than an animal... The noise started under my feet (I was standing about 5 feet from the array), and in a spit second it moved away from me, went up the wall, and into the ceiling and ended above me, on the ceiling. The whole thing only lasted about 3 seconds, and I know there is no animal that can run from the basement, scale up a wall and run into the attic in 3 seconds, and then not make anymore noise at all...
Mary made a comment off of Night of the Living Dead, "They're coming to get you Barbara...", just joking around, and an unseen force hit the 35mm camera in her hand. I saw the whole thing, the camera made a lot pop, the flash went off and the camera was broken after that. Another array went off later on, and some hellacious sound anomalies occurred. We heard what sounded like a horse jumping around, after it is first tied up outside. The church does stand around where the Battle of Honey Springs in the Civil War took place, where many horses would have passed by over the years...
The police officers arrived right when we were done packing up and about to leave. We just went in for a while with just a few EMF arrays. There were some odd green LED light anomalies, just like a firefly holding still, only it wasn't a firefly. Towards the end, we started walking around the room with the arrays, and had a few spikes up to 10. All in all it was a very interesting night.

Recorded a few seconds after the first EVP, the same male voice sounds like he is trying to say "No...", but is cut off. Kind of interesting...

It sounds as if someone stomped their foot against the ground. Mary then says "Ok, he's on me" (it was under her), I say "Did you just hear that?", and Mary says "Yes I did". This was none us stomping on the ground.

During an EMF spike, Mary says, "If there is an entity in here, please make that meter go up". Just afterwards you hear what sounds like a child running VERY fast through the church.

During an EMF spike, a similar running sound is heard twice. This noise actually started right under my feet, went up the wall and ended on the ceiling directly above me, all in a split second...

You can hear a faint growl, noone heard it but Mary, and it was not anyone of our stomachs growling. Mary says, "Was that you?" afterwards.
